Kapseln, eller &#8220;podden&#8221; som den kallas, flyger en bit ovanf\u00f6r sp\u00e5ret. Ja, den leviterar faktiskt med hj\u00e4lp av elektromagnetisk teknik \u00e4ven kallas <strong>magnetisk levitation<\/strong> (maglev). I och med att det g\u00e5r att skapa n\u00e4stan vakuum i tunneln kan man \u00e4ven minska luftmotst\u00e5ndet och friktionen samt p\u00e5 s\u00e5 vis \u00f6ka farten. I dagsl\u00e4get pratar man om farter p\u00e5 700 och upp emot 1000 km\/h. Andra h\u00f6ghastighetst\u00e5g, som de som planeras i Sverige, klarar 250\u2013320 km\/h. Det \u00e4r allts\u00e5 en avsev\u00e4rd skillnad. N\u00e4, Hyperloop-banan kan bli verklighet mycket tidigare \u00e4n man kan tro. Virgins grundare <strong>Richard Branson<\/strong> har redan testat <a href=\"https:\/\/virginhyperloop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Virgin Hyperloop<\/a> i USA och r\u00e4knar med att ha f\u00e4rdiga t\u00e5g i bruk s\u00e5 snart som 2027. N\u00e4r de kan t\u00e4nkas komma till Sverige \u00e4r dock oklart. <br><br>Den st\u00f6rsta plusfaktorn med t\u00e5gen \u00e4r att kunna f\u00e5 ner restiden. Om det bara tar 30 minuter till 1 timme att \u00e5ka till olika st\u00e4der i Europa, d\u00e5 \u00e4r mycket vunnet. Inte minst med tanke p\u00e5 att t\u00e5gstationer f\u00f6r det mesta ligger inne i centrum och inte en bit utanf\u00f6r staden som flygplatser g\u00f6r. Det blir en slags tunnelbana, men mellan huvudst\u00e4der. Energif\u00f6rbrukningen kommer kunna ligga p\u00e5 cirka en tiondel av det flyget kr\u00e4ver idag, och 50 procent mindre \u00e4n vanliga h\u00f6ghastighetst\u00e5g. Koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen minskar ocks\u00e5 radikalt d\u00e5 t\u00e5gen drivs med elektricitet. Taket p\u00e5 tunnlarna kommer kl\u00e4s med <strong>solpaneler<\/strong> som hj\u00e4lper till att driva t\u00e5gen. En annan f\u00f6rdel \u00e4r ljudniv\u00e5n. S\u00e5som m\u00e5nga andra elfordon kommer Hyperloop att vara tystg\u00e5ende.
